David Levinson
Founder
David Levinson is a founder of L&L MAG, a real estate development company founded with Robert Lapidus and MaryAnne Gilmartin.
David Levinson serves as Chairman & CEO of L&L Holding Company, Inc., which he co-founded with Robert Lapidus in June 2000. L&L Holding Company is a privately owned real estate investment and development company. Mr. Levinson’s responsibilities include the strategic direction of the Company, development, acquisitions, marketing and leasing. Since inception, L&L has acquired or developed assets in excess of 6 million square feet of commercial office space including 200 Fifth Avenue, 425 Park Avenue and 390 Madison.
Maryanne Gilmartin
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
MaryAnne Gilmartin is Chief Executive Officer of L&L MAG, a New York-based real estate development company she founded with David Levinson and Robert Lapidus.
Prior to founding L&L MAG, MaryAnne served as President & CEO of Forest City Ratner Companies, where she oversaw a period of game-changing ground-up development and managed its multimillion square foot residential, commercial and retail portfolio.
In her tenure at Forest City Ratner, MaryAnne spearheaded the development of some of the most high-profile real estate projects in New York City. She led the efforts to build Barclays Center, the state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue and the centerpiece of the $4.9 billion, 22-acre mixed-use Pacific Park Brooklyn development. MaryAnne oversaw the development of The New York Times Building, designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano; New York by Gehry, designed by award winning architect Frank Gehry; and the Tata Innovation Center at Cornell Tech, a brand new office building that is a first-of-its-kind space for tech innovation, designed by Weiss/Manfredi on Roosevelt Island.
MaryAnne was appointed a member of the board of directors of the global investment banking firm Jefferies Group LLC in 2014.
MaryAnne is also a civic leader in New York, serving as a member of the Executive Committee of The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Vice Chair of New York Public Radio, member of the Executive Committee of The Real Estate Board of New York, and part of the Industry Advisory Board of the MS Real Estate Development Program at Columbia University.
Throughout her career, MaryAnne has been recognized as a top professional in her field and was honored in 2017 with the Real Estate Board of New York’s prestigious Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership Real Estate Award. She has made multiple appearances on Crain’s New York Business’s annual list of New York’s 50 Most Powerful Women and has also been ranked on the Commercial Observer’s Power 100 list each year since 2013.
MaryAnne graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Fordham University, where she also completed her Master’s Degree. She started her career as a New York City Urban Fellow and worked at the Public Development Corporation.

Robert Lapidus
Founder
Robert Lapidus is a founder of L&L MAG, a real estate development company he founded with David Levinson and MaryAnne Gilmartin.
Mr. Lapidus is President and Chief Investment Officer of L&L Holding Company, LLC, which he co-founded in June 2000. Mr. Lapidus’ primary areas of expertise include formulating real estate strategy, structuring joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, fund raising and financing. Lapidus has arranged joint venture transactions with some of the most respected names in the industry including Prudential Real Estate Investors, The Florida State Board of Administration, Carlyle Realty Partners, General Electric Pension Trust, Principal Real Estate Advisors, JP Morgan Asset Management, Beacon Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Zurich Insurance, Investcorp, RREEF, Blackrock, GreenOak, Tokyu Land Corporation and Columbia Property Trust. L&L’s current portfolio consists of approximately 6 million square feet, exclusively in Manhattan with a market value in excess of $4 billion.
Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Lapidus was a Senior Vice President and Principal of a New York City-based owner and operator of office buildings throughout the country. Mr. Lapidus was responsible for acquisitions and financings of the company’s assets. Prior to this position, Mr. Lapidus was President of Westminster Capital Associates located in New York, New York and Florham Park, New Jersey where he placed over $300 million of mortgage financing on multi-family, commercial and retail properties in New York and New Jersey and he was responsible for acquisitions and development in the greater New York Metropolitan area.
Mr. Lapidus was with Bellemead Development Corporation, a subsidiary of the Chubb Corporation from 1989 to 1997. His areas of responsibility included leasing, management, syndication and financing of a 12 million square foot portfolio of office space. In 1992, Mr. Lapidus became the youngest person in the history of Bellemead to be promoted to Vice President. Mr. Lapidus implemented Bellemead’s diversification into residential development where he successfully completed $200 million of single family, condominium and multi-family development projects. As the project executive of these communities, Mr. Lapidus was directly responsible for the acquisition, approval, design, construction, financing and marketing of these communities. Mr. Lapidus began his career as a corporate and real estate attorney with Kimmelman, Wolff & Samson, P.A., representing developers, lending institutions and various business enterprises.
Mr. Lapidus graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo Law School (New York, New York), Cum Laude, in 1986.
Mr. Lapidus is a member of the Big Apple Metro Division of the Worldwide Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and a member of the board of directors of the Madison Square Park Conservancy. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Catalog for Giving of New York City. Mr. Lapidus is actively involved in several charities including the Boy Scouts of America, Starlight Children’s Foundation, the Catalog for Giving of New York City, and the American Cancer Society.

Jeffrey Rosen
Managing Director
Development & Capital Markets
Jeffrey Rosen is a Managing Director at L&L MAG and oversees development and capital market activities for the company.
Most recently Jeffrey served as Executive Director of Greenland Forest City Partners, a joint venture partnership between Forest City Realty Trust and Greenland USA, a subsidiary of Shanghai-based Greenland Group. In that role, Mr. Rosen was responsible for the overall execution and strategic direction of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the $4.9 billion, 22-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Brooklyn.
Jeffrey also served as Senior Vice President for Finance and Capital Markets at Forest City. Over his 12-year career at Forest City, he was responsible for the origination and structuring of construction and permanent debt, private equity transactions and joint venture partnerships.
Prior to Forest City, Jeffrey worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Management Consulting Services division, advising Fortune 500 clients on enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives.

Susi Yu
Managing Director
Head of Development
Susi Yu is a Managing Director and the Head of Development at L&L MAG, responsible for overseeing and executing the company’s development investment strategy.
Previously, Susi served as Executive Vice President of Development for Forest City Ratner Companies, leading the Residential Development team on execution of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the $4.9 billion, 22-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Brooklyn. At Forest City, Susi also oversaw the development of large scale, mixed-use urban projects including New York by Gehry, a 900-unit residential building designed by Frank Gehry. Susi started at Forest City in 2001 and has worked there since with the exception of a 20-month stint from 2013-2015 with the Howard Hughes Corporation as Senior Vice President of Development.
Trained as an architect at the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture, Susi previously worked for 10 years in that field, most recently as a Project Architect for Robert A.M. Stern. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s Masters of Science in Real Estate Development Program and is a registered architect in New York State. Susi emigrated from Seoul, Korea to Richmond, Virginia at the age of 10.
Susi serves on an advisory board of the Goldman Family, is a director of Apple Bank and sits on YMCA’s Real Estate Committee.

Adam Greene
Managing Director
Development & Construction
Adam Greene is a Managing Director at L&L MAG and oversees development and construction for the company.
Adam is currently leading the redevelopment of 261 11th Avenue, a 1.2 million square foot historic warehouse to office conversion in Chelsea. In addition, Adam is directing the execution of the hospitality program for 425 Park Avenue.
Previously, Adam served as Vice President of Residential Development and Construction at Forest City Ratner Companies, managing the development of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the $4.9 billion, 22-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Brooklyn. His work at Pacific Park included the development of 535 Carlton Avenue, 38 6th Avenue and 461 Dean Street, the tallest modular residential high-rise in the world at time of construction.
Prior to working at Forest City, Adam worked as an architect at Richard Meier & Partners and as a design critic at Cornell University’s Department of Architecture.
Adam received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University. Adam is a Registered Architect in New York and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ashley Cotton
Managing Director
Communications & Marketing
Ashley Cotton is a Managing Director at L&L MAG and oversees communications and marketing for the company.
Previously, Ashley served as Executive Vice President at Forest City Ratner Companies, managing all external relations for the company. In that role she oversaw media and community relations for complex development projects such as Pacific Park Brooklyn, Barclays Center, and Tata Innovation Center at Cornell Tech, as well as directing marketing strategy for the company’s multimillion square foot residential, commercial and retail portfolio.
Prior to Forest City, Ashley served as a Senior Policy Advisor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. She also served as a senior aide to now Governor Andrew M. Cuomo on his successful race for Attorney General and in that government office.
Ashley is a graduate of Bowdoin College and received her Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University. A Brooklyn resident, she serves on the board of BRIC Arts Media and on the advisory board of the Fund for Public Housing. She also serves as the President of the MetroTech Business Improvement District.

At its completion in 2017, Pacific Park’s 461 Dean Street was the world’s tallest modular building. Designed by award-winning SHoP Architects, it is a full-service rental building with 363 mixed-income units.
